Most of the structural pieces in our taproom are original to the building, including the glass doors separating our brewhouse from the taproom. These doors used to separate the original Buick showroom from the ‘delivery ramp’ that happy customers used to drive their new car down and into Fayetteville Street. These doors were found almost completely intact during our demolition phase, covered in dirt, grime, and who knows what else. Only two panes of this glass is NOT original to the original frames. After 100 years, that’s pretty impressive, if you ask us! Being able reuse these doors to add beauty and preservation to our space made us happy and add to the vibe we wanted people to experience while enjoying Great Beer for Great People.
